Once the films were launched, it was time to do a live show. The Black Box offered me a space in The Green Room and in May 2022 I went for it. Meanwhile, Maggie was attracting attention on Instagram. The first of the five films - The Scowl - garnered 23K plays with a little advertising campaign.

Then The Body & Blood got into VAULT Festival in London. A blast and a half. Then cane The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, The Open House Festival at The Courthouse, The Lyric Lounge, and Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin.

Gigs at Life After Art followed and the launch of Ghouls on Film and the birth of The Vigilante Cannibal Nun as Agony Aunt.

In 2024 came the launch of The Vigilante Cannibal Nun as Agony Aunt podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

In 2025 Murphy became a Screen Ireland mentee with Ali Doyle, The Head of Development at Newgrange Pictures, as her mentor. And Murphy won The Pitching Award at The Galway Film Fleadh pitching The Body & Blood as a gothic horror feature film.

What’s next for Maggie Murtagh, The Vigilante Cannibal Nun?
